- For the Steak Bites:
- 1 lb sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
- For the Crispy Potatoes:
- 1 ½ lbs baby potatoes cut into halves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the halved baby potatoes and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
Add 1 tbsp butter and toss the potatoes until well coated. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Steak Bites
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil over high heat.
Add steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 2 minutes without moving them to develop a nice crust.
Flip and cook for another 2 minutes for medium-rare doneness (cook longer for well-done).
Reduce heat to medium, add 1 tbsp butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss to coat.
Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Serve & Enjoy
Return crispy potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
