Description
This white garlic pizza recipe features a creamy roasted garlic sauce, melted mozzarella and provolone, and a golden crust. Perfectly indulgent and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
1 ball of pizza dough
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced or roasted
2 tbsp flour
1 1/4 cups milk (or cream)
1/3 cup grated Parmesan
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup provolone cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F. Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface or pan.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Whisk in flour, then slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
Stir in Parmesan, season with salt and pepper, and remove from heat.
Spread sauce evenly over dough. Top with mozzarella and provolone.
Drizzle olive oil on edges of crust. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
Remove, garnish with parsley or lemon zest, and let cool 2 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For extra richness, use heavy cream instead of milk.
Roasting the garlic first gives it a sweeter, nuttier flavor.
Try adding grilled chicken or mushrooms for variety.
