Description
Easy, bold, and quick shrimp tacos made with juicy spiced shrimp, creamy lime sauce, and crunchy cabbage slaw. Perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.
Ingredients
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lime, juiced
1/4 tsp salt
8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 avocado, sliced or mashed
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Toss shrimp with oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic, lime juice, and salt. Let marinate 10 minutes.
Heat skillet over medium-high. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly charred.
Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
Mix slaw with a squeeze of lime and pinch of salt.
Assemble tacos: add slaw, shrimp, avocado, and sauce of choice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
Notes
Optional: Add mango salsa or chipotle crema for extra flavor.
Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter sauce.
For spicy lovers, include sliced jalapeños.
