Ingredients
2 black tea bags or 2 tsp loose-leaf black tea
2 cups boiling water
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
1–2 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
Ice cubes
Lemon slices and mint (optional, for garnish
Instructions
Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5–10 minutes.
Remove tea bags and stir in honey or sweetener.
Let the tea cool to room temperature.
Add fresh lemon juice and stir.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled.
Serve over ice with lemon slices and mint.
Notes
Use green tea or herbal tea for a caffeine-free version.
Sweeten to taste — start small and adjust.
