Description

Juicy, lemony, and herb-packed Greek turkey meatballs that are healthy, freezer-friendly, and perfect for wraps, bowls, or party bites.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)

1/2 small onion, grated

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp lemon zest

1/4 cup crumbled feta (optional)

1/3 cup breadcrumbs (panko or whole wheat)

1 egg

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

In a large bowl, gently mix all ingredients by hand until just combined.

Scoop mixture into tablespoon-sized balls.

Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides.

Transfer to 375°F oven and bake for 10–12 minutes or until cooked through.

Serve with pita, lemon rice, or tzatziki.

Notes

Make-ahead friendly: Freeze cooked meatballs for up to 3 months.

Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version.

Grated onion keeps them juicy—don’t skip it.
