This fresh mango salsa is bursting with sweet mango, tangy lime, and just enough heat. Perfect for chips, tacos, grilled meats, or summer salads.
Ingredients
2 ripe mangoes, diced
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt to taste
Optional: 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
Instructions
Dice the mangoes into small, uniform cubes.
Finely chop the red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
Combine mango, onion, jalapeño, bell pepper, and cilantro in a mixing bowl.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mix and stir gently.
Season with salt to taste and chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Add diced avocado for a creamy twist.
Use serrano for more heat, or skip jalapeño for mild version.
Pairs well with grilled chicken, fish, or tacos.
