Crispy Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Description

Crispy roasted chickpeas make the perfect healthy snack — high in protein, full of flavor, and addictively crunchy.

 


Ingredients

Scale

1 can chickpeas (15 oz), drained and rinsed

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Optional: cayenne pepper, cumin, cinnamon for variation


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat dry thoroughly.

Toss chickpeas with olive oil until evenly coated.

Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast for 30–40 minutes, shaking pan halfway.

Remove from oven and immediately toss with seasonings.

Cool completely before storing.

Notes

For extra crispness, let chickpeas air-dry 30 minutes before roasting.

Store in a paper bag or container with airflow to maintain crunch.
