Description

Warm, buttery cinnamon apples cooked to tender perfection in one pan. Naturally sweet, cozy, and ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

4 medium apples, sliced

2 tbsp butter (or vegan butter)

1½ tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp apple juice (or water)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Peel and slice apples into uniform ¼-inch slices.

Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.

Add apples; stir for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.

Add cinnamon, maple syrup, and juice. Stir to coat.

Cover and simmer 6–8 minutes until fork-tender.

Uncover and cook 2 more minutes to thicken.

Notes

Use Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala apples for best texture.

For a vegan version, swap in coconut oil or plant-based butter.

Try adding nutmeg or fresh ginger for seasonal variations.
